Intermediate Computers

 

Aim: 

For the student's who have a basic knowledge and just wants to learn a bit more about using a computer or to equip students with the necessary skills to advance confidently on to the ECDL program.

 

Student Profile: 

This course is for those who have completed an Introductory course, or those who are familiar with word-processing applications. Anyone who wishes to enhance their IT skills in every day office applications, including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications, and Internet / Email.

 

Course Content: 

- Microsoft Word Windows Explorer

- Revision of Basics

- Bullets and Numbering

- Line Spacing and Tabs

- Inserting Clipart and Word Art

- Document Enhancement

- Mail-Merge

- Tables

- Internet and Emails


 

Microsoft Excel (Spreadsheets)  

- Revision on basics

- Entering and editing Data

- Formatting Cells

- Calculations

- Absolute and Relative cell

- References

- AutoFill

- Charts and Graphs

 

Duration:

One evening or afternoon per week (2 hrs), for 8 weeks.

Training available in both Banagher and Birr.
