VEX IQ Robotics training

Weekly Computer 2 hr session Sept to Dec 2025 hosted in West Offaly Training Training Room, Banagher.
VEX IQ is based on plastic, snap-together pieces specifically designed to build highly functional robots. This system doesn’t require any prior knowledge in robotics. Students can easily build their first robot, and the wide variety of additional parts means that they can build anything they imagine as they continue to learn.
The training culminated in a local VEX IQ competition ran by Offaly County Council and Hosted by Ballycommon Centre where students were able to compete against other teams and to study various robot designs.
